Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Registration Coordinator to join our growing Pain Management clinic in St. Louis, MO. This role is vital to creating a positive patient experience, as you will be the first point of contact for patients during office visits, follow-ups, and procedures.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring accurate patient information, and supporting efficient clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk check-in/check-out processes
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation
- Collect copays, balances, and process payments accurately
- Maintain and organize patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and team members
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in a medical front office or healthcare registration role preferred
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or patient billing
- Strong computer skills; familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, SIS or similar) preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Pay: $18.50 - $21.75 per hour
