We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Tax Case Analyst I to join our Commercial Services team.
Position Summary
The Commercial Property Tax Case Analyst I provides analytical and administrative support to attorneys, senior tax analysts, and management throughout the commercial property tax appeal process. This role manages cases from filing through resolution, conducts research, prepares documentation, and helps ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial property tax appeals, real estate, legal services, or appraisal who enjoys detailed analytical work in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process commercial property tax appeals and related filings
- Conduct property research and gather supporting documentation
- Assist attorneys and senior staff with case preparation
- Review case files for quality and accuracy
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
- Research comparable property information and valuation data
- Recommend workflow and process improvements
- Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in commercial property tax appeals, real estate, legal services, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
Preferred
- Paralegal certification
- Real estate broker or appraiser license
- IAAO or IPT coursework/certifications
- Commercial property valuation experience
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Experience with case management or database software

Pay: $22 per hour ( $45,760 per year)
