Job Description
This role provides senior-level project leadership, operational oversight, and performance management for the contractor team supporting one of our Federal clients Staffing and Classification Support services. The Human Resources (HR) Supervisor serves as the primary management lead responsible for overseeing resources and delivering services. This role ensures work is prioritized, resources are aligned to demand, deliverables meet quality and timeliness expectations, and contractor performance remains compliant with federal HR regulations, Forest Service policies, and contractual service requirements. The Project Supervisor functions as the operational bridge between contractor personnel and Agency leadership, driving execution across staffing, classification, reporting, surge response, and continuous improvement activities aligned with the contract requirements.
Key Job Duties
Ensures compliance with Title 5 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and system‑use standards (USA Staffing, EmpowHR, NFC, eOPF, eTracker).
Maintains reporting cadence—weekly and monthly status reporting spanning staffing and classification, eTracker statuses (assigned/in work, assigned/not in work, completed, returned incomplete).
Reviews monthly reports; assures audits are conducted and corrective actions implemented; develops quality/performance reports.
Collects quality data via work product reviews, and monthly Government touchpoints; identifies trends for early intervention.
Manage contractor resource allocation to meet fluctuating workload demands, including surge hiring periods, fire quick-action requirements, and mission-critical staffing deadlines.
Track team productivity metrics, aging work items, throughput, backlog trends, and quality indicators; provide performance insights and corrective action recommendations.
Escalate operational risks, staffing shortages, process bottlenecks, and compliance concerns to senior leadership with recommended mitigation strategies.
