Job Overview
Holland’s Maine Attraction is hiring counter staff. We’re a counter-service restaurant in Holland, MA serving burgers, fries, sandwiches, fresh seafood, and hand-scooped Gifford’s Ice Cream. We’re looking for friendly, hardworking people who enjoy working with the public and aren’t afraid to jump in wherever they’re needed. No experience necessary. All we ask is that you show up ready to work and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests at the counter with a positive attitude
- Take food and ice cream orders accurately and efficiently
- Scoop and serve Gifford’s Ice Cream
- Answer phones and handle guest inquiries
- Serve canned beverages and other drinks
- Assist guests with questions about the menu, including allergen information
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Keep the counter, dining area, and restrooms clean and stocked throughout the shift
- Assist the kitchen team as needed
- Help with opening and closing duties including restocking and cleanup

Requirements
- ServSafe Food Handler certification required
- Allergen awareness training required
- Must be available evenings and weekends. Applicants who cannot commit to nights and weekends will not be considered
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Takes pride in cleanliness and holds themselves to a high standard
- Customer service or food service experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
What We Offer
- $18.75 to $28.75/hr including tips

Schedule
- Evening and weekend shifts are the primary need
- Daytime shifts available as needed
- Looking to fill up to two positions
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.75 to $28.75 per hour (base + tips)
Background Check: Required
Pay: $21.50 - $27.50 per hour
