American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Alaska, requiring at least 1 year of LTC experience and an active Alaska RN license.

Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting

Day shift, 12-hour shifts scheduled any day Sunday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

On-call as needed

Patient ratios: 1:18 on days, 1:25 on nights

Charting system: Epic (required)

Medication dispensing via Pyxis

No floating required
-
Local candidates are accepted

Active Alaska RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required

BSN preferred but not required
-
COVID vaccine or signed declination form required for employment eligibility

Proficiency with PC, applicable software, and clinical database systems

Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles in accordance with departmental policies and standards of practice

General and Planetree orientation required; all modules must be completed prior to start
