Duties
- Plan and execute dynamic daily activities that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social interaction.
- Provide attentive toddler care by ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support at all times.
- Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, health updates, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's achievements and address any concerns or special needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, health regulations, and licensing requirements related to childcare.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool environment, particularly with toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to handle emergencies confidently.
- Experience with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is highly valued.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and engaging learning space.
- Ability to nurture a caring environment through caregiving, behavior management, and compassionate communication.
