What You Will Do
- Be the warm, professional face patients see the moment they walk through our doors
- Guide patients through check-in, verify insurance benefits, and collect necessary authorizations
- Accurately manage demographic data, scan documents, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records
- Handle co-pays, deductibles, and account balances with confidence and tact
- Support check-out, scheduling, and reminder calls for missed appointments
- Keep our reception area polished and welcoming
- Learn the language of ophthalmology and grow your medical knowledge on the job
What We Are Looking For
- Ophthalmology experience is a strong plus — you will hit the ground running
- Previous medical practice or busy customer-service experience preferred
- Comfort with computers, email, and multi-line phone systems
- A patient-centric attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a team-first mindset
- Bachelor's degree or some college preferred, but not required
Pay & Schedule
- $18–$21/hour, based on experience
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
