We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to join our Middle School team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting classroom teachers and students across grades 6-8. Responsibilities
- Support students’ learning by providing individualized attention to promote their academic and social development.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful environment.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by engaging in age-appropriate activities that foster positive interactions and communication skills.
- Supervise children during various activities including breaks, recess, and field trips.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop tailored lesson plans and adapt instructional materials for diverse learners.
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities in classroom settings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and students.
- Ability to manage classrooms confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment for young learner

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
