Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and organizing materials within the warehouse distribution area
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing shipping labels, and documenting inbound/outbound freight
- Conduct quality control checks on packages to ensure proper packaging standards are maintained before dispatch
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock records, and streamline order fulfillment workflows
- Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in regular safety audits
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse operations including order picking & packing, stocking, and materials handling
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and performing routine maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality control and accuracy in shipping & receiving processes
- Prior warehouse supervisor or leadership experience is a plus for understanding workflow coordination
