Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic system
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups
- Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on job assignments
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Commercial driving experience, preferably with a dump truck or similar heavy equipment
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading techniques for various materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatch, coworkers, and clients
Note: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position.
Job Type: Commission
Pay: $32.20 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
