Do you have a passion for plants or enjoy improving indoor environments?
We are currently seeking a Part Time Horticulturist Service Technician in the Paramus, Secaucus and surrounding areas. You will visit customer locations to care for their interior plants and Green Walls. The job primarily consists of checking in with the client, testing the plants for water, and grooming the plants. There is a lot of walking so you will get your steps in! Parker provides all the equipment required.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have a positive attitude
- Must provide exceptional customer service at all times and build relationships
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must pass background screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Must meet all company Motor Vehicle Requirements (MVR)
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, read, and write English
Preferred Skills: Previous experience in landscape, horticulture, and/or a greenhouse
Physical/environmental elements for this position: The candidate must have the ability to handle physical workload including bending, squatting, walking (spending all day on their feet), stretching, climbing a ladder, reaching, lifting up to 45 lbs.
Salary: $15.00 - $19.00/per hour
