Position Summary
• Responsible for the Patient Portal and releasing the legal health record based on valid request from attorneys and court system.

• Associate’s degree or
• High school diploma or equivalent and applicable experience
Licenses and Certification

Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: High school diploma or equivalent - two years' experience in clinical or technical office support in healthcare environment required
• Associate’s degree - no experience required
Physical Activities
• Intermittent hand manipulation required
• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds
Role Specific Responsibilities
o Collaborates with Patient Relations Specialist for needs involving legal health record.
o Reviews attorney and subpoena requests to assure validity and takes action as appropriate.
o Follows all procedures for processing the request.
o Maintains 90% accuracy on ROI Quality Reviews.
o Answers telephones and support for patients, physician and clinicians.
o Processes requests for RAC Audits, Appeals, ADR and Denials
o Supports and works as a HI Tech/QR, Prep-Scan, Comp Analyst and Abstractor as needed at the hospitals
o Assist in training new employees
o Enrolls patient’s in the SIH Patient Portal
o Serve as Patient Portal Liaison by providing computer, application and portal technical assistance to patients for SIH & SIH MG Patient Portals
o Effectively communicates with IT Portal analysts about patient portal software issues/recommendations for enhancements.
