About SilverScreen
SilverScreen Decoration & Fulfillment is a growing contract decoration and fulfillment company serving business customers with screen printing, embroidery, digital decoration, finishing, order management, and fulfillment services.
We are adding a new IT Manager position to support our continued growth, improve internal systems, strengthen customer-facing technology processes, and help the company use automation and AI more effectively.
Position Summary
The IT Manager will support company users, manage software applications, maintain customer scripts and data processes, and lead practical automation and AI projects across the business.
This is not a traditional infrastructure-only IT role. SilverScreen already works with an outside IT firm to manage infrastructure, networking, hardware, security, and related technical support. This role will coordinate with that firm while focusing on internal systems, software, users, customer workflows, scripting, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled process improvement.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, business-minded, technically capable, and excited to help a fast-growing company use technology and AI to improve speed, accuracy, service, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employees with software access, application issues, workflow questions, permissions, and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage and improve company software applications used for order management, production, fulfillment, customer service, reporting, and communication.
- Maintain and improve customer scripts, data imports, exports, workflows, and recurring system processes.
- Build or improve automations that reduce manual work, duplicate entry, errors, and delays.
- Use coding or scripting to solve practical business problems.
- Identify and lead AI opportunities that improve productivity, reporting, documentation, customer service, training, quality control, and decision-making.
- Help establish responsible, secure, and practical use of AI tools across the company.
- Coordinate with Silver Screens outside IT firm on infrastructure, network, hardware, security, and escalated technical issues.
- Work directly with department leaders to turn business needs into better technology workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in IT, business systems, software administration, automation, or a related technical role.
- Strong user-support and software troubleshooting skills.
- Coding, scripting, or automation experience.
- Ability to work with structured data, spreadsheets, APIs, imports, exports, or databases.
- Practical experience using AI tools or a strong interest in applying AI to real business operations.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
- Organized, responsive, and able to follow issues through to resolution.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or operations-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, automation platforms, or similar tools.
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows, reporting, documentation, data analysis, or customer support.
- Experience with order management, ERP, CRM, fulfillment, e-commerce, production, or customer portal systems.
- Experience working with outside IT providers or managed service providers.
- Experience in manufacturing, apparel, decoration, fulfillment, logistics, or high-volume order processing.
Ideal Candidate
The right candidate is part IT manager, part systems problem-solver, and part automation/AI builder. You do not need to be a pure software engineer, but you must be able to understand business problems, support users, improve systems, and create practical technology solutions.
