Program Supervisor — Early ABA Program (Center-Based)

About the Role
East Bay Child Development Center (EBCDC) is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead day-to-day clinical oversight of our center-based Early ABA Program serving children under 4 and their families. This is a mid-level leadership role for an experienced professional ready to grow into greater clinical responsibility, working under the guidance of our Clinical Supervisor/BCBA team.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working directly with young children, has strong instincts for behavior support and skill-building, and is ready to mentor a team of RBTs while ensuring high-quality, compassionate, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Team Leadership
- Provide day-to-day supervision and coaching to a caseload of RBTs delivering center-based ABA services to children under 4
- Model and reinforce correct implementation of behavior intervention plans (BSPs) and skill acquisition programs
- Conduct regular fidelity checks and hands-on coaching during direct sessions
- Support onboarding and training of new RBTs alongside the clinical team
- Bridge communication among all stakeholders
Clinical Support
- Collect, review, and troubleshoot data collection for accuracy and consistency
- Flag concerns regarding client progress, behavior escalation, or program effectiveness to the supervising BCBA in a timely manner
- Assist with preparing materials for programs, visual supports, and reinforcement systems
- Support generalization of skills as directed by the treatment plan
Family & Care Coordination
- Serve as a warm, consistent point of contact for families regarding day-to-day program updates
- Support parent training sessions in coordination with the supervising BCBA
- Communicate with families regarding scheduling, attendance, and program logistics
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure daily documentation (session notes, data sheets, incident reports) is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Support scheduling and coverage coordination for assigned caseload
- Maintain compliance with agency, funding source (e.g., RCEB), and licensing requirements
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and organizational trainings
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services to young children (under 5 preferred)
- Must have a masters degree in ABA, Psychology, or Education or plan to enroll in a masters program within the next 6 months
- RBT certification in good standing (or BCaBA certification/eligibility a plus)
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or informally leading other technicians
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior intervention plan implementation
- Excellent communication skills with families, team members, and leadership
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable and willing to assist with diapering and toileting support as needed for children in this age group, in accordance with center hygiene and safety protocols
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs comfortably as part of routine child care duties
Preferred
- Experience in early intervention or preschool-aged ABA settings
- Bilingual Spanish a huge plus
- Familiarity with center-based service delivery models

Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, center-based hours
- Benefits: Health benefits, paid time off, and other standard full-time employee benefits
- Compensation: Commensurate with experience $30.00-$35.00 per hour
