A CARSTAR "A" Technician is a senior-level collision repair professional responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and structural damage. They restore vehicles to OEM safety specifications, manage heavy frame repairs, and ensure timely, high-quality vehicle delivery in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities
- Structural & Frame Repair: Analyze and repair significant structural damage, pulling and straightening frame rails back to factory specifications. Perform Body repairs to pre accident conditions.
- Complex Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, analyze, and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Part Replacement: Safely remove and install complex components, including airbags, suspension systems, and electronic modules. Repair and replace damaged parts, including sheet metal, glass, and other components
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional auto body or collision repair experience in a production shop.
- Certifications: I-CAR Gold/Platinum certification and/or ASE certifications.
- Technical Skills: Advanced welding, sheet metal fabrication, and proficiency with computerized measuring and diagnostic scan tools.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean record, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay is to be determined based on skill and will be discussed during interview process.
Compensation & Environment
- Pay: Hourly, averaging $25-$35+ per hour depending on skill.
- Environment: Fast-paced, safety-focused collision center.
