Automotive Technician (A-Level) – A&B Kia Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
- Repair and replace major components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex systems
- Perform wheel alignments and utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, including Kia-specific systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive technician experience (dealership preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skill set
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Experience with ADAS systems highly desirable
- Experience with Asian vehicle brands preferred, but not required
- Current certifications (ASE or equivalent) are a plus
