Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to lead our commercial landscape maintenance division. This role will oversee the day-to-day field operations, manage multiple crews, and ensure the successful execution of landscape maintenance services for a portfolio of commercial properties, including office parks, retail centers, corporate properties, and HOA’s. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations by supervising crews, including scheduling, routing, and resource allocation.

Develop and implement work schedules, maintenance plans, and quality control standards to ensure timely and excellent service delivery across all commercial sites.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor job progress, quality, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.

Conduct site audits regularly and address any service-related issues promptly.

Manage crew performance, conduct training, and enforce company policies and safety protocols.

Serve as the main point of contact for property managers and commercial clients; respond to service requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency.

Coordinate with assistant manager to propose enhancements, contract renewals, and additional services.

Plan, Coordinate & Execute Landscape Enhancement projects

Ensure Estimates & Invoices are created correctly and sent timely. Monitor status of payment for invoiced work.

Review Equipment & Equipment Inventory weekly

Oversee Facility needs, office materials and restock items necessary to operate on a daily basis.

Routinely inspect Facility for items that need repair or pose a risk. Provide corrective action for items in need of repair.

Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage; track costs to ensure job profitability and budget adherence.

Work with the Mechanic to ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained weekly and ready for use. Coordinate necessary repairs with Mechanic and Assistant Manager.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies; lead weekly safety meetings and training.

Process & Manage all human resource components of job position which include: interviews, hiring, onboarding, personnel issues, terminations & reporting.

Use operational software (e.g., Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, ADP, Ease) to manage time tracking, HR, scheduling, job tracking, and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:

3+ years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance, with 2+ years in an operational leadership role.

Proven track record of managing multiple crews and large-scale commercial properties.

Deep knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems, and horticulture.

Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experience using Quickbooks, ADP and Microsoft Office.

Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Schedule & Conditions:

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform site walks across large properties.

Full Time, Mon-Sat early mornings, evenings, or weekend work during peak season or emergencies.
