About the Role:
School of Rock Randolph is looking for a passionate and talented Vocal Instructor to inspire the next generation of singers and performers! This is an exciting opportunity to share your love of music in a dynamic, performance-driven environment where students truly rock. Preferred applicant age is 20 years and older, must be willing to work Saturdays
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one vocal instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with each student's musical goals and abilities
- Prepare students for live stage shows
- Teach proper vocal technique, breath control, pitch, tone, and stage presence
- Collaborate with other instructors and music directors to support ensemble rehearsals
- Track student progress and communicate updates with parents and staff
- Maintain a fun, encouraging, and structured learning environment
Requirements:
- Proficiency in vocals with a strong foundation in music theory and technique
- Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred
- Ability to teach students of all ages, beginners to advanced singers preferred
- Familiarity with a wide range of musical genres including rock, pop, and classic hits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and passionate about music education
- Experience performing live is a plus
