URGENT NEED: Direct Care Professional needed to provide services to individual with developmental disabilities in the workplace. Service includes support in an office environment requiring a federal background clearance. Applicant must have computer and writing skills with the ability to use the computer to transcribe for the individual in a legal office environment--experience is a plus. Applicant must present in a professional way in a manner conducive to an office setting. Schedule would be consistent as the individual works Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm both in office and remotely on alternate days. We are looking for a potential full time person or one that can take a couple of days. Position also includes assistance with personal care, use of a Hoyer lift, physical transfers, be able to drive the individual's accessible van safely to include use of tie downs for her wheelchair, and assist with meal set up. There are opportunities for instate and out of state travel available as well to support during various work duties. Applicant must be 21 years old, with good driving record, and ability to pass a background check. Must have GED or High School Diploma.
