IncidentClear – Freeway Service Patrol
About the Role
IncidentClear is seeking out part-time individuals who possess motivation, a desire to serve, and those who have a history of service to others to be a part of the PA Parkway Service Patrol. IncidentClear's Parkway Service Patrol Drivers provide rapid response clearance of disabled vehicles and removal of road debris while patrolling Pennsylvania's most highly traveled roadways. Perks include: Uniforms provided, Paid Training, Paid Holidays, Autonomous work environment. IncidentClear plans to give preference to former military and those with experience with the SSP.
What You’ll Do
- Servicing disabled vehicles by providing fuel, oil, and other system fluids
- Clearing stranded vehicles and debris from driving lanes
- Changing or inflating tires
- Making minor mechanical repairs
- Securing the area around your vehicle
- Transporting motorists to a safe location
- Providing cell phone assistance
- Transporting stranded motorists
- Providing directions
Qualifications
- Possess 2 years of tow truck experience with emphasis on wheel lift trucks
- Have a safe driving record wiht a current PA driver's license
- Have a highschool diploma or GED
- Be able to lift 60 lbs
- Pass a criminal background check and driver's license investigation
- Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Possess certification in first-aid or willingness to obtain certification
- Possess knowledge of basic automotive mechanics
- Possess sound judgment in carrying our their duties and conduct themselves in such a manner that will reflect favorably upon IncidentClear and PennDot
Additional Information
This role requires individuals who can work independently, think quickly, and maintain professionalism while assisting motorists in real-time roadside situations.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Experience:
- paid driving: 3 years (Required)
- auto mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Pennsylvania driver's license (Required)
