Qualifications/Experience:
- Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching credentials (required).
- Previous experience (professional, student teaching, or strong practicum) in special education, especially with TK, Kindergarten, or 1st grade populations.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and fellow educators.
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and adaptive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs of all students in the classroom.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administration to support student success.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom where every child’s strengths are celebrated.
- Actively participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development.
