Q Vision is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our independent, surgeon-led ophthalmology practice serving the Valley since 1996. Our practice focuses on cataract surgery and LASIK, and we are proud to have earned exceptional patient reviews and long-standing trust in the community.
This is an excellent opportunity to work one-on-one with a highly respected surgeon in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Technicians in our practice are trusted professionals who are deeply involved in both clinical care and surgical procedures. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working at a high level and being directly involved in refractive and cataract surgery.
Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to assist with advanced refractive and cataract procedures, including scrubbing LASIK and cataract surgeries and assisting with Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) treatments.
Candidates must have prior ophthalmology experience and be comfortable performing advanced diagnostic testing and assisting with ophthalmic surgery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete patient workups, including cataract and LASIK evaluations
- Visual acuity testing and manifest refraction
- Diagnostic testing including IOP, wavescan, corneal topography, visual fields, pachymetry, and IOLMaster
- Surgical assisting and scrubbing for LASIK and cataract procedures
- Maintain and organize back-office clinical supplies
Experience with VISX excimer laser systems and LASIK surgical support is strongly preferred.
Our offices are located in Scottsdale and Mesa, and this position will rotate between both locations.
