Now Hiring: Elderly Lifestyle Assistant (Homemaker/Housekeeping Services)
Concierge Home Services is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our growing team as an Elderly Lifestyle Assistant. In this role, you will provide homemaker services that help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We are proud to partner with ECKAAA to provide these essential services throughout our communities.
As an Elderly Lifestyle Assistant, you will primarily provide housekeeping and light homemaking services while building meaningful relationships with our clients. For many of those we serve, your visit may be one of the highlights of their week.
We are currently serving clients in Paola, Osawatomie, Fontana, Ottawa, Parker, Centerville, Greeley, Garnett, Welda, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage is reimbursed)
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to maintain impeccable hygiene standards.
- Implement proper sanitation procedures for kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely to achieve optimal results.
- Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury while completing heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service that fosters trust and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet care, and outdoor work experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and the safe operation of cleaning equipment.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks with care.
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work outdoors or in various residential environments as needed.
