Overview
Cross Services Group is seeking a proactive and organized Property Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our portfolio of commercial and residential properties throughout MetroWest Boston.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, performing light repairs, inspecting properties, and coordinating trusted vendors to ensure our buildings remain safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of company-owned and managed properties.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot building issues.
- Perform minor repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, locks, fixtures, and basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Coordinate and supervise outside vendors, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, and general contractors.
- Obtain quotes, schedule repairs, and verify work is completed to company standards.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all properties.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and vendor documentation.
- Assist with property turnovers, tenant move-ins and move-outs, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure all properties remain safe, clean, and compliant with applicable codes and regulations.
- Respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies when needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or property management.
- Strong troubleshooting and general repair skills.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
- Ability to identify issues and determine when outside specialists are required.
- Experience coordinating contractors and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
