Customer Service & Order Processing Specialist
Position Summary
The Customer Service & Order Processing Specialist is responsible for order processing, inventory administration, and administrative support to ensure accurate and efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
- Enter and process customer orders from multiple sources.
- Generate invoices and supporting documentation.
- Process orders according to established payment and account guidelines.
Inventory & Container Management
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
- Update inventory records for incoming container shipments.
- Manage backorders and maintain accurate ETAs.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and allocation issues.
System & Data Maintenance
- Maintain spreadsheets, records, and internal systems.
- Perform data cleanup and ensure information accuracy.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records and operational reports.
- File customer paperwork and maintain organized customer records and account files.
Customer Service & Communication
- Assist with answering incoming customer service phone calls.
- Respond to routine customer inquiries regarding accounts, orders, and inventory availability by phone or email.
- Provide order status updates and basic account support.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Customer service, inventory, or order processing experience required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and organization while handling a high-volume workload.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
