ERP Systems Administration and Support
· Serve as the primary technical resource for Datacor ERP and Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
· Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of ERP applications.
· Analyze and resolve application issues while minimizing business disruption.
· Coordinate software upgrades, testing, patch management, and implementation activities.
· Monitor ERP performance and recommend improvements to system functionality and business processes.
· Develop and maintain ERP documentation, workflows, configurations, and support procedures.
· Work with vendors and third-party consultants to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
· Support ERP integrations with internal and external business systems.
· Application Development and Solution Architecture
· Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom business applications and solutions within Microsoft and AWS technology environments.
· Develop integrations between ERP systems and other business applications.
· Create and maintain software solutions utilizing technologies including, but not limited to:
· Microsoft.NET; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power; Automate, Power BI); SharePoint; Microsoft 365; Microsoft Azure; Amazon Web Services (AWS); along with APIs and web services.
· Evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
· Design application architectures that support business growth, security, reliability, and maintainability.
· Develop technical specifications, documentation, and implementation plans.
· Research and recommend emerging technologies and best practices to improve organizational effectiveness.
Business Analysis and Process Improvement
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Analyze business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and data accuracy.
· Lead application-related projects from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing support.
· Develop and support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
· Assist departments with maximizing the value of enterprise applications and technology investments.
Security, Compliance, and Governance
· Ensure applications comply with organizational security standards, policies, and industry best practices.
· Support data integrity, system reliability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives.
· Participate in application security reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
· Maintain documentation for application configurations, integrations, customizations, and development projects.
· Assist in establishing governance standards for enterprise applications and development practices.
Leadership and Collaboration
· Provide technical leadership and recommendations regarding enterprise applications and business systems.
· Work closely with the Director of Information Technologies to develop application strategies and technology roadmaps.
· Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
· Mentor users and technical staff regarding application functionality, best practices, and technology solutions.
· Participate in after-hours support, upgrades, and project activities as required.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders regarding application capabilities and technology opportunities.
· Special projects and tasks as requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Thorough knowledge of ERP systems, business processes, and enterprise application environments.
· Strong understanding of application architecture, software development methodologies, and systems integration.
· Experience supporting and customizing ERP platforms such as Datacor ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, or similar enterprise solutions.
· Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, SQL Server, Azure, and .NET development tools.
· Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and architecture principles.
· Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, SQL development, reporting solutions, and business intelligence tools.
· Understanding of APIs, web services, middleware, cloud integrations, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, identity management, access controls, and application security best practices.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company, customer, and employee information.
Qualifications
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred
· Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
· Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise business applications, ERP systems, software development, systems integration, or related technology environments.
· Experience supporting ERP systems such as Datacor ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, or similar enterprise platforms preferred.
· Experience developing applications, integrations, reports, workflows, dashboards, and enterprise solutions within Microsoft technology environments preferred.
· Experience working with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS), preferred.
· Experience with SQL Server database administration, querying, reporting, and data integration solutions preferred.
· Experience managing software implementation projects and working with third-party vendors preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and related technologies preferred.
