Temporary Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal
Williams Caputo Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced temporary plaintiff personal injury paralegal to support one of our attorneys for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. This job is full-time.
This role is for someone who can step in, stay organized, and help keep cases moving without needing extensive training. We are open to someone who is not seeking a permanent, full-time position but is interested in temporary, paralegal work.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing litigation and case deadlines
- Calendaring deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case events
- Setting depositions and coordinating with attorneys, opposing counsel, clients, court reporters, and witnesses
- Setting mediations and handling related scheduling details
- E-filing pleadings, motions, notices, and other case documents
- Tracking client treatment and case status
- Ordering, following up on, reviewing, and organizing medical records and bills
- Reviewing insurance documents, medical records, and other case-related materials
- Assisting with settlement phase tasks, including preparing documents, gathering needed information, and helping move cases toward resolution
- Drafting and preparing legal documents, discovery materials, correspondence, and case updates
- Communicating with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal team members
- Keeping case information current in the firm’s case management system
- Maintaining organized case documentation and proofreading work for accuracy
Must haves:
- Prior paralegal experience required
- Plaintiff's personal injury experience required
- Experience e-filing case documents
- Strong calendaring and deadline management skills
- Experience setting depositions and mediations
- Experience tracking client treatment and ordering medical records
- Experience reviewing and organizing medical records, bills, insurance documents, and case evidence
- Ability to manage multiple cases and follow through without constant reminders
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to jump in quickly and work in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with Filevine or similar case management software
- Experience supporting cases through the settlement phase
- Litigation experience in a plaintiff personal injury firm
Schedule, location, and duration:
This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Our preference is for this role to be in person in our Austin office, but remote or hybrid work can be discussed for the right experienced paralegal.
Pay is based on experience.
