Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Recovery Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims, verifying medical documentation, and ensuring accurate processing of claims related to Worker’s Compensation. Your expertise will help streamline claims workflows, improve accuracy, and deliver exceptional service to clients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records, documentation, and billing information to determine claim validity and compliance with insurance policies.
- File claims accurately using financial software systems while maintaining meticulous records of all transactions.
- Conduct Worker’s Compensation insurance verification processes to confirm coverage details before claim submission.
- Investigate claim discrepancies or denials to ensure appropriate recovery.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, ICD coding updates, and Worker’s Compensation law requirements to ensure compliance.
Experience
- Prior office experience in a healthcare or insurance setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in filing, medical documentation review, and insurance verification processes.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of Worker’s Compensation law.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers, insurers, and internal teams.
