The Ice Cream Parlor Manager is a full-time leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operations of our parlor. This individual will be leading a team of part-time employees while delivering an exceptional, community-centered customer experience. Our ideal candidate is a dependable, people-focused leader who is comfortable managing younger staff, thrives in a high traffic environment, and takes ownership in their workplace.
Key Responsibilities

Model outstanding customer service. Handle escalated customer concerns professionally

Monitor product inventory and place orders as needed

Manage high-traffic periods efficiently, maintaining an organized and welcoming environment during peak hours

Foster a positive, trusting, and inclusive workplace for all employees

Build and maintain weekly employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours

Lead the recruitment process for new parlor staff. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet customer demand

Uphold standards for cleanliness, food safety, and operational efficiency at all times

Maintain clear and timely communication with staff, leadership, and customers
Experience

Prior experience in management, preferably in food service

Strong organizational skills

Weekend availability for on-call troubleshooting or coverage as required

Must have the ability to stand, move, and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift
Schedule

40 hours/week, Monday-Friday: weekend availability as needed
Pay: Dependent on experience, salary
