One of our automotive clients is looking for a Senior HR Generalist in Danville, KY.

Job Responsibilities
· The Senior HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager to provide the Danville facility with Human Resource services.
· They are responsible for understanding the business needs of the facility and then translating those needs into HR services to ensure the facility benefits from the standardized processes.
· Support HR with various administrative responsibilities including the areas of on-boarding, orientation, transfer, exit, and assignment changes.
· Work with supervisors to update and maintain HR database for employee lifecycle including hiring system, onboarding, and organizational changes.
· Generate HR analytical reports and metrics using HRIS system
· Administers various human resources plans and procedures for facility personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains facility handbook and rules.
· Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
· Develops and maintains affirmative action program; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations
· Conducts recruitment effort for all non-exempt personnel and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations.
· Participates in department meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Manages the facility’s non-exempt attendance records. Prepares/issues/tracks corrective Acton for attendance violations.
· Assist with bargained positions job postings, job bidding process including candidates’ suitability for position. Provides notification of successful bidder(s) to union, Team Member, and management.
· Processes payroll for bargaining unit employees on a weekly basis and handles site requirements for salary payroll.
· Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
· Assists with the implementation, auditing, and training of Safety programs
· Participates with implementation of new technology
· Maintains system integrity
· Supports safety, quality, DOS, and SOP’s initiatives, policies and procedures
· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills – written and oral. · Strong team building and people skills including the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation. · Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS office. · ADP Payroll processing experience a plus.
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Education: - minimum of a 4-year degree (BA or BS) in applicable area or education and experience equivalent.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
