askmaster Components is a leading supplier of trailer tires, wheels, and trailer components throughout North America. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily activities of the shipping department.
- Coordinate the accurate picking, staging, and shipment of trailer tires, wheels, and trailer parts.
- Verify orders for accuracy before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Schedule and prioritize shipments to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Train, coach, and develop shipping team members on company procedures and safety standards.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, inventory, customer service, and transportation teams to resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area.
- Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to become certified).
- Ability to read shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing lists.
- Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
