We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment to support excavation, grading, paving, utility work, and site development projects. Duties
- Operate heavy machinery mainly tractor pan or pan scraper
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to equipment safety procedures
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as pan scraper in a construction environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures is essential
- Construction site experience with familiarity in construction utility work, paving, excavation, and grading projects
- Excellent understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to follow detailed instructions for equipment operation and site safety standards
