About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure our environment remains pristine, functional, and welcoming for all occupants. You will play a vital role in upholding high standards of hygiene and operational efficiency through diligent upkeep and proactive facility care.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and utilizing industrial machines for stripping, waxing, and polishing.

Maintain high sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, locker rooms, and high-touch surfaces throughout the facility.

Manage interior and exterior cleanliness, including window washing, trash removal, and debris clearing.

Perform minor facility repairs, such as unclogging fixtures and addressing general maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate event logistics by assembling furniture and configuring spaces to meet specific meeting requirements.

Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, including vacuums, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers.

Ensure safety by managing exterior walkways during inclement weather and promptly reporting potential hazards.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and ladder work.

Proficiency in safely handling cleaning chemicals and industrial maintenance tools.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Strong communication skills to effectively follow work orders and report maintenance issues.

Two or more years of experience in janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance trades.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity.

Basic knowledge of facility repair and preventative maintenance procedures.
