RW America Is Hiring! RW America is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in Jefferson City, MO! We're currently hiring for Class E Driver. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by handling various tasks related to transportation of goods to various locations while also ensuring timely and safe delivery, inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfillment. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods efficiently.
- Load and unload products, (heavy doors/windows, cabinets, millwork) while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory locations/staging, and deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading as necessary.
- Assist in managing inventory levels during receiving, staging for delivery, and during deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling of large items safely.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other loading equipment effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or related fields is preferred.
