EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This role provides entry-level casework experience that supports families working to improve their well-being. You will learn essential skills while handling tasks that become more complex over time. As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:

Client Interviews: Conduct interviews with individuals and families to gather initial information

Service Eligibility: Determine and verify eligibility for various social and supportive services

Support Services: Provide counseling, referrals, and guidance to assist families with improving functioning

Case Documentation: Maintain accurate case records, reports, and social histories

Home Studies: Prepare home, case, and social studies to support service decisions

Court Participation: Attend court hearings and training activities as assigned
Work Schedule and Additional Information:-
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour lunch.

Employee may have overnight travel or out of County travel on a monthly basis.

Employee may have irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours when required.
