’m looking for a serious creative operator in Irvine, CA to help build and run the content engine behind a founder-led YouTube channel in the coaching, consulting, and online business space.
This is not a basic editing role.
I’m looking for someone who can become the creative machine behind the brand — similar to what Drock was for GaryVee. Someone who understands YouTube, storytelling, filming, editing, thumbnails, hooks, retention, and how content turns into customers.
The goal is simple:
Create insanely valuable, artistic, high-performing YouTube content that builds authority, attracts the right audience, and drives customers into a coaching/product offer.
This role is for someone who wants upside, not just hourly pay.
You will be compensated very well through a direct percentage of revenue generated from the business, so as the content engine grows, you grow with it.
What You’ll Own
You will help lead the full creative process:
Ideation for YouTube videos
Researching angles, hooks, and content topics
Turning ideas into strong outlines and scripts
Filming in person in Irvine
Directing the visual style and creative direction
Editing long-form YouTube videos
Creating short-form clips from long-form content
Designing or directing thumbnails
Improving titles, packaging, and retention
Helping build a repeatable content system
Tracking what works and improving every week
This channel needs to feel valuable, sharp, simple, and visually strong — not generic guru content.
The content will be educational, practical, and built around frameworks, business philosophy, client acquisition, YouTube, content strategy, offers, sales, and coaching/business growth. The creative style should turn complex ideas into simple, visual, memorable content frameworks, similar to the kind of “teach and sell at the same time” structure described in the reference material you’re using for inspiration.
Who This Is For
This is for someone who is obsessed with YouTube and filmmaking.
You should be the type of person who watches videos and thinks:
“The hook could be better.”
“The pacing is too slow.”
“That thumbnail won’t get clicked.”
“This idea needs a stronger visual metaphor.”
“This could be turned into a simple framework.”
You do not need to be famous.
You do not need a massive portfolio.
But you do need taste, speed, hunger, and real creative instincts.
Requirements
Must live in or near Irvine, CA
Must be able to film in person
Must understand YouTube deeply
Must be strong at editing
Must have a good eye for visuals and storytelling
Must understand hooks, retention, titles, and thumbnails
Must be able to move fast without needing constant hand-holding
Must be excited by revenue-share upside
Must care about building something big, not just completing tasks
Bonus Points
Experience filming founder-led content
Experience with coaching, consulting, education, or business content
Strong thumbnail design skills
Strong scriptwriting or copywriting ability
Understanding of YouTube analytics
Ability to create visual frameworks, graphics, diagrams, or clean on-screen explanations
Experience creating content that drives leads, calls, or sales
Compensation
This will be structured as a revenue-share partnership.
Instead of treating this like a normal freelance editing job, I want the right person to have direct upside in the business.
The better the content performs, the more customers we generate, and the more revenue the business makes — the more you make.
Exact percentage and structure can be discussed based on experience, skill level, and involvement.
The Vision
I believe with the right creative executor, this channel can become a serious customer acquisition machine.
I will bring the expertise, offers, case studies, client results, business strategy, and on-camera personality.
You bring the creative direction, YouTube execution, filming, editing, packaging, and consistency.
Together, we build the engine.
If you are a beast at YouTube, filmmaking, editing, and creative direction — and you want real upside — I want to talk.
