Position Summary
The Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients by servicing existing policies, answering coverage questions, processing policy changes, and identifying opportunities to enhance customers' insurance protection. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and claims support.
- Review customer policies and explain coverage options in a clear and professional manner.
- Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other policy transactions.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities while ensuring customers have appropriate coverage.
- Follow agency procedures and carrier guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay current on insurance products, industry regulations, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required (Life & Health license is a plus).
- Previous insurance agency or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
