As Assistant Lodge Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in the daily operation of the lodge. This position combines operational excellence, luxury hospitality, event coordination, and team leadership to ensure every guest receives an exceptional and memorable experience.

Position Summary
The Assistant Lodge Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of lodge operations while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations. Working closely with the Lodge Manager, General Manager, Hospitality Director, Culinary Team, Housekeeping, and Property Team, this role helps deliver seamless service from arrival through departure.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay.
- Deliver personalized, world-class hospitality while anticipating guest needs.
- Build strong relationships with guests and create memorable experiences through thoughtful service.
- Ensure guest preferences, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests are communicated and executed flawlessly.
- Respond professionally and efficiently to guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Operations
- Assist the Lodge Manager with the day-to-day operation of the lodge.
- Coordinate daily lodge activities and ensure all departments work together efficiently.
- Monitor operational standards and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in developing and implementing both short- and long-term operational goals.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional guest service.
Leadership
- Lead by example and help foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring seasonal employees.
- Conduct daily staff meetings and pre-service briefings.
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members throughout the season.
- Help maintain accountability while encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Hospitality & Fine Dining
- Maintain the highest standards of luxury hospitality and fine dining service.
- Work closely with the Culinary Team to ensure every dining experience exceeds guest expectations.
- Assist with wine service and beverage programming.
- Ensure dining rooms, event spaces, and guest areas are consistently presentation-ready.
Event Planning
- Assist in planning and executing private dinners, special events, and lodge activities.
- Coordinate event logistics between departments to ensure flawless execution.
- Review event details carefully to ensure every guest expectation is met.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain organized guest files and reservation information.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest emails professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate reservations, guest itineraries, and internal communications.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
Property Coordination
- Work closely with Housekeeping and the Property Team to ensure guest accommodations are prepared and assigned to the highest standard.
- Inspect lodge facilities and guest rooms to maintain exceptional quality.
- Coordinate with maintenance and property teams to address operational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or lodge management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Professional, positive, and outgoing personality.
- Wine knowledge and beverage service experience preferred.
- Event planning experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation software is a plus.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
