Job Summary – Baker
Reports to: Bakery Manager
Function: To produce all bakery goods of the highest quality
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Work up and mix up products from recipes or prepared mixes

Set ovens, bake product and monitor the baking process

Operate and maintain all department equipment

Determine quantities of ingredients needed to order

Unload and verify deliveries

Perform all functions of bakery clerk when necessary

Constantly monitor temperatures in freezer and cooler areas

Follow all company policies
-
Perform other duties as directed

Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical Demands:
Work safely around ovens
Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
Lift cases/containers of product up to 40 pounds
