Job Summary
The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, components, and equipment necessary for production operations. Key tasks include supplier management, contract negotiation, cost efficiency analysis, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Buyer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of purchased goods, adhering to company standards and timelines.
Previous supply chain/procurement experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Place PO for raw materials, parts and supplies
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are on site in a timely manner to facilitate accurate and adequate parts availability to meet customer demands
- Identify, monitor, track and report on risks to late delivery and handle escalations with suppliers
- Collaborate with internal departments on new product introductions and planned product discontinuations
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Maintain open communication lines with other departments within Trinity Precision
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure resolution of invoice discrepancies and that cost structures are being met and/or exceeded
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: $41,600.00 - $65,000.00 per year
