Job Summary
Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a traveling Civil Site Supervisor, where you'll lead and oversee all aspects of construction site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position requires the ability to travel and receive paid for stay, paid travel time, additional per diem pay on top of wage.

Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, blueprints, and schematics.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and drive construction progress.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety inspections; address hazards promptly.
- Manage site logistics including material deliveries, equipment usage, and site access control; utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for documentation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards; implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings..
- Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and project budgets; collaborate with management on cost estimates and resource allocation.
- Supervise and mentor construction staff; foster a collaborative environment focused on safety, efficiency, and high-quality results.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site supervision or management within heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Supervisory experience supervising diverse teams in fast-paced construction environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and implementing safety protocols on-site.
