American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist with heavy cardiac/open heart CVOR experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Hospital-based CVOR unit position
-
12-hour day shifts with varied start times, 3 shifts per week
-
Call required, approximately one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays from end of shift to 6:30am

Floating required, with travelers being the first to float, including possible floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the primary facility

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required

Heavy cardiac and open heart surgical experience required

CST certification preferred

BLS certification required
-
License required if applicable

Prior travel assignment experience required

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates, and cannot own or cosign property within that radius

All requested RTO must be submitted with the application, as facility will not approve RTO after submission

Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation with an in-person requirement for badge/ID pickup

Full COVID and flu documentation required for consideration

Travelers are expected to fully integrate with core staff and function as part of the team

No block scheduling requests accepted

Candidates should be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
