Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Grounds & Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities in Bonita Springs and assist with maintenace needs at our Naples locations as needed. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across building interiors and exteriors, including landscaping, repairs, and property inspections.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping properties looking their best, and is comfortable handling a variety of basic maintenace and handyman tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain landscaping and grounds by mowing lawns, trimming bushes and trees, planting flowers, and ensuring outdoor areas are clean and inviting.
- Repair and maintain facilities equipment such as HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and property maintenace repairs.
- Carry out interior painting projects and carpentry tasks to uphold the property's appearance.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or management with professionalism and customer service excellence.
- Performing routine property inspections and identifying items needing attention.
- Traveling to company properties in Naples when maintenance assistance is needed.
Experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with lawn care, landscaping, property maintenance, handyman work or a related field preferred.
- Comfortable using lawn equipment, hand tools and basic power tools.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of grounds and maintenance work.
- Good judgment and ability to recognize when a repair requires a licensed professional.
