We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to our clients. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness through personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and more
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific areas of tension or pain and develop customized treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness and pain management.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance service quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain treatment procedures, and address any concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with medical professionals when necessary to coordinate care for clients with complex health conditions or injury recovery needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in diverse massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices.
- Prior experience working in medical spas or similar healthcare settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies for pain relief and relaxation.
- Experience handling client communication with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality.
- CPR certification is required; additional certifications in specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy or prenatal massage are advantageous.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles related to workplace ergonomics or injury prevention is a plus.
Due to our patients being personal injury , workers comp , or under insurances the pay will be as followed :
$30.00/ 30 Minute Sessions
$60.00/ 60 Minute Sessions
