Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, primarily focusing on oil changes and changing tires. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be comfortable working with both hand and power tools. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers in a fast paced shop.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on various vehicles, ensuring all services are completed efficiently.
- Mount and Balance Tires
- Repair flats
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify potential issues and recommend necessary services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle servicing.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance or as a mechanic
- Familiarity with automotive shop environments
- Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostic
- Sales experience related to automotive services is an advantage.
