L&J Waste Management is hiring a dependable Apartment Service Technician to service Cobalt Row Apartments in Murfreesboro.
This is more than a valet trash position. Our Apartment Service Technicians help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of one of Murfreesboro's premier apartment communities while delivering dependable, professional service every evening.

Compensation
- $24.00/hour using a company vehicle
- $26.00/hour when using your own approved truck, plus a fuel allowance
- Company vehicle available for employees who do not own a truck

Schedule
Shift A
Monday Tuesday Wednesday
- Evening shifts
- Service Window: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Routes typically take approximately 2 hours
- Most technicians finish well before the end of the service window
- Once your assigned route is completed correctly, your shift is over—you are not required to remain on-site until 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Collect valet trash from apartment residents
- Keep dumpster and compactor areas clean and organized
- Report maintenance or safety concerns
- Take photos of property issues when necessary
- Safely operate a company vehicle or your approved personal truck
- Represent L&J Waste Management professionally during every shift
Reliability Is Our Standard

- Arrive before their scheduled start time
- Begin service promptly at 7:00 PM
- Complete service within the property's designated service window
- Communicate immediately if an emergency prevents you from working
- Take ownership of your assigned property

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the property
