2 Positions for Medical Assistants. Part time Medical Assistant (Tuesday, Thursdays, and every other Friday) OR Fulltime Medical Assistant. The Part-time Clinical/Medical Assistant assists the orthopaedic/hand surgeon in clinical work on clinic days Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday. The Full-time Clinical Medical Assistant assists on clinic days and performs other clinical tasks on non-clinic days (e.g. preparing for clinic days, requesting labs and images, ordering medical supplies, etc.). Patients are scheduled from 9am to 5pm on clinic days. Flexibility to work past 5pm is required. Days are fast-paced and full of clinical experience. Job responsibilities include completing clinical notes, applying braces and casts (can be taught), suturing and removing stitches (can be taught), preparing injections (can be taught), and facilitating physician's ability to transition between patients, etc. Applicant must be able to write well in English. Applicant must be responsible, conscientious, professional and detail-oriented. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Hourly pay range is between $14.75 and $15.00 starting.
