American Traveler is hiring an Endoscopy/GI Tech with 2+ years of advanced endoscopy experience and CO DORA Surgical Tech registration for a 13-week travel contract in Colorado.

13-week travel contract in Colorado

Four 10-hour day shifts per week with a rotating call schedule
-
Procedures include polypectomies, biopsies, screening exams, ERCPs, and dilations
-
Role involves advanced, complex endoscopic cases requiring a highly experienced technician

Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI Tech experience required
-
Advanced case endoscopy experience required — must be comfortable assisting with high-level, complex procedures

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Registration with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech required (license required if applicable)

SGNA Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program certification highly preferred

IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification highly preferred

DOB or SSN required for consideration

Proof of flu vaccination required — no exemptions

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Assist nursing staff and physicians during GI procedures with efficient equipment operation
-
Disinfect, reprocess, and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment
-
Set up procedure rooms and stock with necessary supplies and equipment
-
Transport patients and assist with ambulation and dressing as directed by nursing staff

Apply EKG monitors, BP cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures

A Colorado CAPS (background check) registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should plan accordingly
