Job Functions:
- Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
- Prepares repair orders (RO)
- Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
- Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status.
Qualifications to be a Service Writer:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· RV Service Advisor experience is preferred but not required
· 1-2 years of Service Advisor experience in Automotive, RV, Powersports, Marine or other related fields is a plus!
· Able to navigate a computer, internet, and email.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Reliable and strong work ethic.
· A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
· Must present a professional demeanor, punctuality and able to work weekends and holidays, if needed.
· Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
· Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
