Job Overview
We are seeking a part time or full time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. We schedule 1 hour appointments for prophys and 1.5-2 for perio maintenance/ SRP
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
- Assist in pediatric dentistry as needed, providing care tailored to younger patients.
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Use EagleSoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and maintaining records efficiently.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Kentucky.
- Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with EagleSoft or similar dental office management software is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for effective documentation review.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 30.0 per week
